100 Thieves press reset on VALORANT team, keeping only Hiko and adding nitr0

100 Thieves have pressed reset on its VALORANT division as they released four of the five members of the lineup. Only Spencer “Hiko” Martin remained and is joined by their latest addition, Nick “nitr0” Cannella.

This means Dionedre “YaBoiDre” Bond, Alfred “Pride” Choi, Zachary “Venerated” Roach, and Keane “Valliate” Alonso are back on the market. The former Highground players had a relatively short run with the organization and unfortunately went out in the group stage in their last two showings leading up to this move.

nitr0’s addition comes shortly after it was revealed 100 Thieves were looking to acquire his services. With an estimated salary of somewhere between $250,000 and $350,000, the report stated that not only was 100 Thieves offering the best financial package, but also additional things other organizations can’t such as freedom to change up the roster.

This is a reunion as he reunites with Hiko who was signed as the first member and captain of 100 Thieves. The two played together from 2015-2017 on Team Liquid.

During his time with Liquid in 2019 the North American side earned the title of #1 team in the world and earned a Intel Grand Slam victory in Season 2 in just 63 days. During their run to hit #1 and maintain it, Liquid was filling up their trophy case quick. nitr0 spent a total of 5 years with the organization.
