BREN's streak broken, knocking the MPL-PH champs down to third place in The Nationals

The streak ends for BREN Esports as they face their first defeat in The Nationals Season 2. Cignal Ultra was the team to hand BREN Epro their first loss since the regular season of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines. Their last series loss came at the hands of Smart Omega on September 25th.

The 2-1 series was a fun one. The third and final game kicked off with an aggressive strategy from Cignal Ultra’s RHEA on Natalia which helped lead his squad to a massive 8,000 lead in gold and a 24-9 kill differential in their favor relatively early on. BREN tried to make a comeback in the last two minutes but were unable to stop a five-man wipe which led to the roughly 16 minute game ending in favor of Cignal Ultra alongside a series victory.

This moves BREN into third place down from first with a record of 7-4 and eight points on the board. Cignal Ultra has now moved into a tie for fourth place with four points.

STI swept the winless Happy Feet 2-0 in the other battle of the day. This has given STI an 8-2 record and put them in a tie for first place with Smart Omega (7-2).
