DreamHack Sports Games Appoints Roger Lodewick as CEO
DreamHack Sports Games has appointed former DreamHack co-CEO Roger Lodewick as its new CEO. Lodewick will resign from his DreamHack position to take on the new role. Dreamhack recently merged with ESL to form ESL Gaming, but DreamHack Sports Games will continue to operate independently from the new joint entity.
Prior to joining the Modern Times Group family of esports companies, Lodewick held several executive positions at other companies such as Zoomin.TV and Comosa AG. He was also previously responsible for media rights sales for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.
DreamHack Sports Games is a company focused on producing esports events and competitions for, as the name implies, sports games. The company produces various FIFA leagues, and currently runs a golf esports series in a joint venture with the European Tour and Topgolf Entertainment Group. According to a release, DreamHack Sports Games has produced over 850 broadcast hours worth of live content since 2019.
