ESL Partners With MaltaGaming, Malta to Host both 2021 ESL Pro League Seasons

Global esports tournament and league organizer ESL announced a strategic partnership Thursday with the independent non-profit foundation GamingMalta, which was established by the Government of Malta and the Malta Gaming Authority. The two organizations partnered up earlier this year for the ESL Pro League Season 11, which achieved the competition’s highest viewership to date with an average minute audience (AMA) of 165K.

As part of the partnership, Malta will be the host location for all of the ESL Pro League in 2021. Additionally, the partnership will be featured in continued integrations for the upcoming 12th season of the ESL Pro League, which will be played out online due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.

The GamingMalta foundation is looking to offer bootcamp opportunities to the Louvre partner teams, especially for teams from outside of Europe that are attending back-to-back events in the European area and want to avoid traveling back and forth.
