Esports business consultancy Reset launches – Esports Insider

London-based agency group Reset, founded by former executives from Minute Media, Spotify and SRI, has announced the launch of its gaming and esports business consultancy. 

According to the release, the agency looks to help gaming companies turn investments into stable businesses, provide organisational design and interim operational support, whilst also supporting brands activate in gaming with accurate data and measurable results.

Reset was co-founded by Duncan McMonagle, previously Chief Revenue Officer at Minute Media, Benjamin Brown, former Global Partnership Lead at Spotify, as well as Chris Jordan and Charlie Stebbings, who Co-founded the esports executive search practice at SRI.

The agency has already made its first key hire with Mike Murphy O’Reilly, former Head of Gaming & Esports at Minute Media, joining as Reset’s Commercial Director

The firm claims to ‘steer clients away from narratives that set false expectations and instead offer transparency, education and proven execution’. Its services include business model development, revenue strategy, investor market entry and other creative services.

Reset has been working with several notable clients in past months, including esports organisations London Spitfire and Ellevens, tournament operators BLAST and FACEIT, as well as the likes of Samsung, Kia and Duracell. 


Esports Insider says: With the recent influx of brands and organisations going into the esports industry, agencies that help firms navigate this space are also on the rise. Reset already seems to have enough experience, as well as a good client record, to establish itself in the current market.
