Gaming Chair Maker Secretlab Sponsors Invictus Gaming
Chinese esports organization Invictus Gaming (IG) signed a new sponsorship deal with Singapore-based gaming chair maker Secretlab.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
As a part of the deal, Secretlab will produce the exclusive co-branded gaming chair for IG, featuring the organization’s classic white and black color scheme. In addition, the Secretlab logo will be featured on team jerseys.
With the addition of Secretlab, IG currently has nine sponsors, including live streaming platform Huya, U.S. car maker Chevrolet, soda water brand Mirinda, short-form app Kuaishou, Chinese apparel brand Lilbetter, internet cafe company Wanyoo, Bixin, and Betway (the Betway sponsorship only includes IG’s Dota 2 division).
In June Secretlab became the chair partner for The League of Legends European Championship (LEC). It also is the chair partner of multiple esports teams, including Evil Geniuses, Team Liquid, OG, Team Secret, and T1.
IG has a long history in China’s esports industry. It was founded by Chinese businessman Sicong Wang in 2011. It is also the only esports organization in the world to win both Dota 2’s The International in 2012, and the League of Legends World Championship in 2018. It’s League of Legends team is now the top 1 on the League of Legends Pro League (LPL) Summer Split scoreboard. If IG can keep its position to the end, it will be directly qualified to the League of Legends World Championship in Shanghai this year.
