Gen.G expands Team Bumble partnership, plans all-women VALORANT team – Esports Insider

Multinational organisation Gen.G has expanded its partnership with female-focused social networking app Bumble, as both entities collaborate to launch an all-women VALORANT team.

Gen.G will enlist the help of Team Bumble Fortnite player Madison ‘Maddiesuun’ Mann, who will serve as a mentor and talent scout to help find new VALORANT players for the organisation.

Moreover, Mann will also search for ‘creators, castors, and mentors’ for the Team Bumble community.

Nate Stanz, General Manager for Gen.G commented on the new team in a release: “By expanding Team Bumble with an all-women VALORANT team, we are laser-focused on finding the best untapped female talent on the planet.

“We will be integrated into the North American scene quickly, including scrims with and against our current roster. We commit to providing the correct competitive tools for the quickest path to success for all our players.”

Gen.G founded its all-women Fortnite team dubbed ‘Team Bumble’ in 2019. This year, Gen.G formed its own VALORANT team that is made up of male players who competed in CS:GO tournaments together under the name LiViD Gaming.

Bumble’s continued partnership will allow the organisation to field both male and female teams in Riot Game’s latest competitive title.
