LEC Renews Partnerships With Red Bull, Secretlab, and Beko for 2021

Ahead of the start of the 2021 League of Legends European Championship (LEC) season on Jan. 22, Riot Games’ EU esports division announced that it has renewed several of the league’s partnerships. In addition to returning partners Warner Music Central Europe and Alienware, which were announced earlier this week, Red Bull, Secretlab, and Beko will remain in the LEC’s active partnership portfolio.

Red Bull, which first has been sponsoring the league since March 2019, will continue to be the LEC’s official energy drink partner. As part of the partnership, the Red Bull brand is prominently featured during the “Red Bull Baron Power Play,” which often is a decisive phase in a professional League of Legends match. Further, Riot Games will repeat its Red Bull Solo Q 1v1 League of Legends tournament in which fans can compete against each other.

Gaming chair manufacturer Secretlab, which debuted as the LEC gaming chairs partner in June 2020 superseding AKRacing in that position, also renewed its partnership contract with the LEC. In 2021, Secretlab will continue to supply gear to the studio and the broadcast team.

Domestic appliance brand Beko, which initially joined the LEC as a sponsor in March 2019, also renewed its partnership with the league for 2021. As part of its partnership, Beko will present interviews with some of the league’s players and continue to promote healthy eating habits throughout the community via their entertaining LEC Smoothie Bar.
