MPL-PH Season 6: Aura reclaim Group A crown for now, ONIC secure 3rd seed, Omega secure 2nd

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines’ (MPL-PH) week eights second day has come to a close with yet another swap in Group A leadership. Aura PH has reclaimed the crown after defeating the winless Blu Fire. ONIC managed to secure their spot as the number three seed heading into the playoffs with a win over Cignal Ultra.

It was a relatively easy looking 2-0 for Aura PH as the back-to-back MPL-PH champions made quick work of Blu Fire in their day two matchup in week 8. This victory has given Aura PH enough points to move back into the top spot in Group A but it’s still not set in stone with a few more matches to be played ahead of the playoffs.

It was another 2-0 in the matchup between ONIC PH and Cignal Ultra as the former looked dominant in their opening game, defeating Cignal Ultra 15-5. The second would take a bit more effort and last roughly 19 minutes but still swing in the same direction.

BSB maintain their one win season thanks to another loss at the hands of Omega PH who took the win in convincing fashion. 27-8 for game one would snowball into a 28-8 game two as Omega locked in the number two seed in Group B with 25 points.
