North sign Lekr0 to complete CS:GO roster

North have officially signed Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson from Ninjas in Pyjamas the organization has revealed. The 27-year-old will be joining the starting roster effective immediately as they look to improve their standing in Counter-Strike.

“I am really looking forward to joining North. There has been a lot of rumours about me joining “this and that” org, but when I started talking to North about the project and what they aim for with this team and their Nordic ambitions, I didn’t have any doubts,” Lekr0 said. “This is definitely the new home for me, and I am really looking forward to playing with the guys and bringing this team to the next level.”

Lekr0’s future had been up in the air since he moved to the bench of Ninjas in Pyjamas back in May in order for the Swedish organization to add Hampus “hampus” Poser. Lekr0’s had been a member of NiP since June 2018 when he joined from fnatic.

Previously it was expected that he would be joining MAD Lions but things fell through in the end as he apparently denied an offer by the organization. According to the report, North had been trying to gain his services for some time but only recently decided to meet the asking price of NiP.

The new North roster will be making its debut in the third iteration of the Nine to Five $50,000 event.
