PUBG's first flying vehicle, Motor Glider, to be introduced tonight on PC

The Motor Glider is set to join PUBG on PC later tonight and at the launch of season six on PS4 and Xbox One, the game’s publisher announced earlier today. It was put through three days of testing last month.

The Motor Glider will be the first flying vehicle in PUBG. It’ll be able to fly at a maximum of about 43.5 miles per hour and will need a speed of at least 40.4 miles per hour to take off. It isn’t that fast compared to other vehicles. The UAZ, for example, can go up to 61.5 miles per hour. It’ll be able to carry two players and will be fragile against enemy bullets.

PC Players: There will be an update applied without downtime Jan 14 6pm PST / Jan 15 3am CET / Jan 15 11am KST. The Motor Glider will be available in public matches after the update time listed.

During its testing period, players were able to use the Motor Glider in the state in which it’ll be released on the live servers with only a few slight changes. The main cause of death for players using this vehicle was crashing, which represented 60 percent of them, as reported by the publisher. With that in mind, players will have to be careful on how they use the Motor Glider.
