RodjER departs from HellRaisers

Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosyan’s premonition from earlier this month when he wasn’t sure about his future at HellRaisers became reality. The veteran support player parts way with the organization after four months and a string of fairly decent results.

“I do not know whether I will stay on the roster or not or where I am going to play next,” RodjER declared in an interview with Taras Bortnik during the second season of Parimatch League. He gave a few insights into HR’s state talking more about the issues with the overall in-game strategies. Although HellRaisers registered immediate success after RodjER joined them, back in March this year, the team’s trajectory stagnated when they were pitted in the online regional events against the top competitors from Europe and CIS.

Despite the recent unsatisfying results, both RodjER and Alex “Magician” Slabukhin’s, HellRaisers’ CEO emphasized in the official departure announcement that they split ways on good terms, friendship relation even.

Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosyan:

“I’m grateful to my teammates and organization for everything we’ve been through. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to agree on certain things Dota-wise. I wish the guys luck and patience. I also want to thank you, our fans, for your support. It was always a pleasure to read your positive comments.”

Alex “Magician” Slabukhin:

“I was at TI back in 2017, watching VP play in the playoffs (we couldn’t advance further then). I couldn’t even imagine that I’d get the chance to work side by side with RodjER. I’m really sorry we have to go our separate ways now. We’ll definitely remain friends though, so for those trying to dig up some dirt on why RodjER has left the team: don’t waste your time. Thank you, RodjER, and good luck!”

HellRaisers current roster:

  •  Alexander “Nix” Levin
  •  Arslan “xannii” Shadjanov
  •  Gleb “Funn1k” Lipatnikov
  •  Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov
  • Coach: Aleksandr “Accell” Litvinenko

HellRaisers were just announced to be a part of the Europe and CIS closed qualifiers for the $550,000 division of OMEGA League. The battle for a spot into the main event will take place in the first week of August, which gives a bit of time to the organization to introduce their new support player. RodjER hasn’t revealed any of his future plans as of yet.
