Shanghai's Diem likely to miss Overwatch League opener due to a health issue

In a post on Shanghai’s Weibo account today, the team shared that Bae “Diem” Min-seong is recovering from a serious health issue that may see him ruled out of professional play for up to a month.

A translated version of a Weibo post states that Diem is “currently receiving medical treatment in Korea” and ” is in stable condition” but needs to “take a one-month break” according to medical advice.

Diem calmed his anxious fans and explained he’s recovering from a pneumothorax (collapsed lung) and is working hard to recover. This condition is considered life-threatening and many fans are relieved to hear of his stable condition.
