A new Batman Arkham game could be announced by the end of the year
It feels like we've been waiting for a new Batman game forever.
The most recent hints we've seen about the next step in Batman's video game career all came from Arkham Origins developer WB Montreal, who has a sustained campaign of teases over Batman Day, then suddenly went dark again.
The teases which, as we've previously reported, seem to be linked the Batman: Court of Owls storyline, led to a dead end earlier this year.
But don't give up hope: a renowned leaker seems to think we'll be seeing more of the mysterious DC Comics project sooner rather than later.

Known leaker Sabi has taken to the internet to announce that there could be some significant surprises in store ahead of The Game Awards 2019.
The leaker, who has had an inconsistent track record when it comes to more recent leaks, keeps referencing a game called Arkham Legacy.
In a thread referencing their information about potential upcoming games, they note there's a "possible Activision remake, Batman Arkham legacy news, etc. and VGAs are just 33 days away now."
Does this mean Geoff Keighley and co. are bringing us the WB Games news we so crave? We hope so.
This all comes after we saw more activity around the caped crusader back in September.
Roger Craig Smith, Batman's voice actor in Arkham Origins, tweeted a very suspicious tweet that seemed to suggest he's working on a new project… specifically, a new video game project.
As if that's not enough for you, Warner Bros PR manager Gary Miereanu responds to Smith's tweet and promises that the publisher will be revealing something about its next project "reasonably soon".
The stars seem to be aligning for an announcement by the end of the year. We'll keep you updated as we learn.
