Black Ops 4 Update Today: DLC 4 Release Date, early patch notes and more
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is counting down until the release of the games fourth DLC package, titled Operation Dark Divide.
The new DLC has been somewhat overshadowed with the Modern Warfare beta over the past week, but the current Call of Duty game is still a priority for the team at Treyarch.
This new DLC is coming to PS4 first, with Xbox One and PC at a later date, which is normally a week later following PlayStation's exclusivity period has ended.
Whilst this is unlikely to be the last update for Call of Duty Black Ops 4, it's possible this could be the last full-fledged piece of DLC for the game.
That said, Treyarch are known to support their games for quite some time after launch, so it's not beyond the realm of possibility.
In the hear and now, we've got Black Ops 4 Operation Dark Divide DLC to come first, so here's everything we know about it so far.
In the run-up to the Black Ops 4 Operation Dark Divide launch a special live stream will be held at 5pm UK time outlining what’s in the patch.
Speaking about Operation Dark Divide in a post on the official Sub-Reddit, Treyarch said:
“The sixth Operation of Black Ops 4 arrives Monday on PS4 with Operation Dark Divide, our upcoming superheroes vs. villains-themed season packed with all-new game content and customization gear, as well as our final two Black Ops Pass Multiplayer maps and the conclusion of the Black Ops 4 Zombies Aether story, 'Tag der Toten'.
“We can’t wait to share all the details in next week’s studio broadcast, where we’ll have world premiere gameplay footage of our upcoming Multiplayer maps, a walkthrough of our insane new Blackout experience, and of course, plenty to cover on the finale of Black Ops 4 Zombies with the dev team… along with a message from some very special guests. Stay tuned for more intel on Monday.”
The team also linked to a Twitter post which seems to be teasing a new weapon, which can be seen on the link .
Stand by for more details later today.
