Black Ops Cold War Gives Detailed Stats CoD Fans Wanted For Years
Gun enthusiasts in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War can get super nerdy as the game will include incredibly detailed stats on each weapon.
Reddit user Wedos98 found that there is finally a detailed list of stats in the weapon customization screen that will help players get an edge on their opponents. Information on muzzle velocity, vehicle damage, effective damage range, fire rate (by RPM), and much more has been found in the open beta. It even gets into the extra nerdy stuff like idle sway control, recoil control, and aim flinch stability.
With these improvements in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, players can finally tool their loadout and perks to match their play style in a more precise fashion. This will definitely impact the eSports scene with every competitor’s pursuit to find the optimal loadout for their team.
Earlier today, we found out that the next Call of Duty will have a field of view slider on every platform (not just PC). Wider viewing angles will almost certainly improve your game as you can perceive any wrong move from the enemy more accurately. In addition, snipers will have an aim assist for controllers, making it slightly less painful for casual players of Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War.
It seems like with the next generation of Call of Duty, Activision wants to give players more options on how to play the massively popular shooter and that’s only a good thing.
The open beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is currently live for those who have preordered the game on PS4. It will open to all PS4 owners on October 10, and it will end for both sets of players on October 12.
That won’t be all, however. On October 15, the open beta is coming back for all systems. Early access is given to those who preorder on Xbox and PC on the 15th (it will be available to all PS4 owners at the time), but it will then be available for everyone on October 17. You can check out more details on when you can preload and the bonuses you’ll get for playing the beta here.
