Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will bring new maps and modes to Warzone

Activision will be integrating Black Ops Cold War with Call Of Duty: Warzone, bringing more guns, maps, and modes to the battle royale.

Next week will see the release of Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, but as players already know, this does not mean the end for Call Of Duty: Warzone.

In fact, Activision has now detailed what will be coming next for Warzone once Cold War releases, posting a roadmap that teases the kind of content fans can expect.

Firstly, some unspecified free content will be added to both Warzone and Cold War, with the latter getting an additional map called Nuketown 84, the newest version of a location that’s appeared in every Black Ops game.

Aside from the promise of more maps and weapons, more Zombies modes will be added and the 2v2 Gunfight mode will make a return.

The roadmap also mentions a ‘classified Warzone experience.’ Maybe whatever this is will result in Warzone’s main map of Verdansk undergoing a change to match up with Cold War. There have been rumours and leaks of a new map coming to Warzone in the future.

Activision goes into much further detail about how Warzone, Cold War, and Modern Warfare will all work together on its website.

Cold War Season 1 will even introduce synchronized player progression, meaning you can level up and gain experience across all three games even if you only play one of them.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will release on November 13 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.

Call Of Duty: Warzone is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
