Call of Duty Mobile Zombies release time: When can you play new mode tonight?

A highly anticipated new feature is coming to Call of Duty Mobile today – Zombies.

The mode, which has been made famous in mainline Call of Duty games over on consoles and PC, was missing at launch, but Activision is bringing the fan-favourite survival mode to the mobile version of the game today.

The update is rolling out around the world at roughly the same time, meaning that some players will have to wait to access the new update on the 23rd, rather than the 22nd.

The update will drop at 9pm CT on Nov. 22 – that means gamers hoping to get in on the action in the UK will have to wait until November 23, 3am.

It's not ideal, but at least it means you've got all weekend to get to grips with the game.

Of course, there's more than just the Zombies mode coming to the game in the new update. There's also a whole suite of new features coming in with this big patch.

"The latest version of CoD: Mobile supports PS4 and Xbox controllers. Players can use a controller to join the battle," notes Activision in the leaked patch notes.

"Controllers can only be used during matches and can’t be used outside of matches (for example, when in the lobby, store, or loadout)."

Premium players will also be able to play as a classic Black Ops character: Alex Mason.

"Alex Mason joins the game as a classic CoD character (he was the main character of CoD: Black Ops)". It seems he'll be a Tier Level 100 Premium Pass prize.

Season 2 of CoD: Mobile will kick off on November 25th, and it'll last until January 2020.
