Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's Minibak is a fan favorite and, much like its predecessors in past game releases, an excellent Submachine Gun. With excellent mobility, fire rate, and accuracy, it is hard not to fall in love with this machine for all close-quarters combat and mid-range scenarios.
It plays much as it has in past Call of Duty games, so if you are a veteran and have fond memories of using this weapon, then welcome home. This weapon has a great time-to-kill and is easy to learn how to use effectively. In fact, it's so easy to use that any newcomer can pick it up and seem like a pro.
Minibak Build
This Minibak build focuses on Accuracy, Recoil Control, Handling, and Mobility. An excellent tool for those who love to change between tactics of run-and-gun to holding down a location to picking off enemies for mid-range combat. You'll find that this weapon is quite responsive and powerful – it feels a bit steadier and firmer to handle than the FENNEC 45 and VEL 46, so if those aren't to your taste, the Minibak may be the perfect fit. This gun takes the strong points of the FENNEC 45 and VEL 46 but gives them more stability and range at the cost of fire rate.

Using these attachments will help the Minibak be quick in its time-to-fire as well as its time-to-kill. These will also help the aim of the weapon be incredibly steady, so whether you are face-to-face with your opponent or picking them off from a decent range, the Minibak will prove effective in quite a few aspects of gameplay. Pairing the Minibak build with the right loadout options will complement the weapon itself. Making use of the quickness of the weapon with perks, such as Double Time, will really make the strong points of this weapon that much more powerful.

Slot | Name | Description |
---|---|---|
Tactical | Stim or Flash Grenade | By running a Stim you'll be able to get back into the fight quickly with some fast health regeneration, if that's not your style try the Flash Grenade to blind your enemies to make those killing blows that much easier. |
Lethal | Semtex or Frag Grenade | When running around the map you may find having a Semtex or Frag Grenade useful to ensure the corner you are about to cross is clear or if you know an enemy is camping in the room you can flush them out with either of these. |
Perk Packages | Double Time, Scavenger, Fast Hands, and Quick Fix | Since this build thrives on movement, Double Time will help you move across the map quickly, while Scavenger will help you stay up on ammo, so you never run out. Fast Hands will help you get your next magazine ready for the next fight quickly, and Quick Fix will give you health regeneration after each kill, so you don't need to rely on your Stims as much if you are running those. |
Field Upgrades | Munitions Box and Portable Radar | If Scavenger isn't enough to keep your ammo full, the Munitions Box will come in handy to get you some ammo back for your next fight but make sure you are safe since it takes time to pull out and use. The Portable Radar will come in handy when your holding down an objective and want to know where the enemy is coming from when your team does not have a UAV active. |
The playstyle for this weapon is going to shine in either run-and-gun tactics or holding down a location and covering doorways and entrances.
You will find that the fast Sprint-to-Fire Speed, Time-to-Kill, and Aim Down Sight Speed will have you and your enemy on your toes with fast reflexes to make sure you can take them down first. It is a fast-paced playstyle, so if that is not your cup of tea, then the Minibak may come in handy in more mid-range fights, which this build will also prove proficient in.
