Crysis Remastered Trilogy Launches This Fall
Crysis Remastered still doesn’t have a specific release date, but Crytek today announced its highly anticipated remaster will arrive on consoles and PC this fall. The trilogy will feature single-player remasters off all three games and was “optimized in partnership with Saber Interactive” for modern hardware.
A teaser trailer was released to coincide with the announcement, giving fans of the series a closer look at the reimagined world of Crysis. The three games never looked bad – some would argue they were the best looking games of their time – yet they all look even better thanks to the power of PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Crysis Remastered is already available on all platforms, including Switch, although this will be the first time players can go hands-on with a reworked version of Crysis 2 and Crysis 3.
“Crysis Remastered Trilogy will give players not familiar with the franchise to be able to play through the whole storyline from the very beginning with this all-in-one bundle,” Crytek announced. “Players will be transported through, North Korean islands, to New York City where they’ll have to save humanity from a deadly virus, to the finale where they’ll be on a revenge mission to uncover the truth about C.E.L.L.”
Steffen Halbig, project lead for the remaster, said, “We’re excited to announce that these iconic Crysis games are returning in one bundle, remastered for a new generation of hardware. Each game is enhanced to look and play beautifully on today’s platforms, delivering the finest Crysis experience for both newcomers to our classic franchise or players wishing to relive the adventure.”
Last month, Crysis Remastered received a big update for current-gen consoles, offering both 4K and ray tracing support on PS5 and Xbox Series X. You can now toggle between Performance and Quality modes at your convenience – a feature we’re expecting to see at launch for the Crysis Remastered Trilogy.
Crysis Remastered Trilogy is expected to arrive later this fall.
