Cyberpunk 2077 Mod Buffs Some Of The Hardest Bosses

Besides the bugs and technical issues, which have largely been resolved in the more than two years since Cyberpunk 2077 has been released, fans have criticized the game in one other key metric: it’s too easy. Especially the boss fights, which can be pretty short if you’ve got a decently equipped character.

RalphModding aimed to fix that shortcoming with the Bosses Rebalanced mod. As the name implies, this mod rebalances Cyberpunk’s key boss fights to be a bit more challenging.

"In the vanilla version of the game, once you get to the boss, even at the Very Hard difficulty, there's not much of a challenge if you have good guns and equipment," wrote RalphModding in the mod’s description. "That's why I wanted to work on this mod for a while. Now you should be really prepared for blood."

The mod largely adds health to three Cyberpunk bosses: Sasquatch, Oda, and Adam Smasher. For Sasquatch, her two phases now have their own health bar, while Oda has two additional health bars and will use his cloak during the earlier Mantis phase. Adam Smasher's three phases gain their own individual health bars, greatly extending the ultimate showdown of Cyberpunk 2077.

"This should add a new edge when you get to confront them, so before you get into the fight," RalphModding adds. "Keep your ammo up, grenades checked and meds available."

To install, just unpack the mod's archive into the game folder. Uninstalling is as easy as deleting a single folder. You can download the mod over on Nexus Mods, your one-stop shop for PC modding.
