Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date Announced – E3 2019
With the help of special guest Keanu Reeves, CD Projekt Red has announced the release date for Cyberpunk 2077.
The reveal came at the end of a new trailer during Microsoft’s E3 press conference and confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will release on April 16, 2020 for PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC. Matrix and John Wick star Keanu Reeves came on stage to reveal he is in the cast, and to make this announcement.
Cyberpunk 2077 was first announced in 2012, and a trailer in 2013 established its release date was listed as a very vague “coming: when it’s ready,” so it’s good to see an end to its intense development process in sight. Last year at E3 2018, we learned a ton about 2077’s world and mechanics an hour-long gameplay demo and saw how our choices affect the world in a similar-but-very-different GamesCom Demo.
