Destiny 2 DOWN: Server status latest as Bungie game stops working

Destiny 2 (and Destiny 1 if you're still player) is currently down and not working this afternoon for all players on PS4, Xbox One, PC as well as Google Stadia.

The issues have been ongoing for some hours (blame kids for our lack of knowledge) and having logged on to answer that all-important question ' Where is Xur? ' we learnt like you the game was down.

It appears that these issues are not with PSN or Xbox Live, but Bungie's online servers.

For some hours the developers at Bungie have been "investigating issues" however there appears to be no resolution in sight.

"We are continuing to investigate this issue," Bungie's last tweet read.

"Thank you for your patience while we provide further updates."

That last update came over one hour ago at 4.01pm GMT.

Further digging on Bungie's official help site reveals that the problems are impacting "all Destiny services".

So at least all Guardians are in the same boat.

"Until resolved, some Destiny and Bungie.net services may experience disruptions," it continued, pointing affected players to its Twitter feed for updates.

A quick look at DownDetector reveals that the problems are worldwide, which makes sense, since it's impacting all players on all platforms.

Stay tuned for more info.
