Diablo 4 News: Final Fantasy XIV Director calls out Blizzard for job on next Diablo game

Diablo 4 is still something of an unknown quantity as it stands. Blizzard announced that Diablo Immortal is coming at some point, but this is the mobile version of the game. This, naturally, has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move. In fact, when it was announced, we had to put up with some insufferable doofuses parading their idiocy around trying to be all clever on Twitter, if you can believe it.

That doesn’t mean we won’t get Diablo 4, after all, Blizzard has a lot of people working for it, so there are going to be plenty of different teams working away, busy as overworked bees. Just because Diablo Immortal is in the works doesn’t mean that Diablo 4 isn’t, in fact, it’s highly unlikely that that would ever be the case given the different ways in which a mobile game and a console/PC game would be developed.

While there has been no official announcement for Diablo 4, Blizzard like money and they know what they’re doing, so it will definitely be coming. There have also been a few jobs regarding an unannounced game, which could very well be the next in this hellishly good series of games.

Maybe Naoki Yoshida will be announcing that they’re going to be starting a new job, as a result, it feels like they’d probably do pretty well in the interviews, it’s hard to imagine there would be many people more qualified for that kind of role anyway.
