Dragon Ball FighterZ Master Roshi DLC announced, release date window revealed
Bandai Namco has announced yet more DLC for Dragon Ball FighterZ.
The publisher and developer (Arc System Works) have announced that perennial DBZ favourite, Master Roshi, will be arriving as the third character for Dragon Ball FighterZ in the FighterZ Pass 3.
The Turtle Hermit will join both Kefla and Ultra Instinct Goku as the third fighter in the current season of DLC for the popular fighting game.
If you need a little catching up on the lore, Master Roshi is a pretty powerful fighter in the DBZ universe, being the guy who originally trained Goku and Krillin in the Dragon Ball series. Better yet, he invented the Kamehameha technique – underestimate him at your peril!
Roshi – even at the ripe old age of 300 – has bested Goku in combat a few times, too, so he's a smart choice to arrive in FighterZ.
The new fighter was announced during the Dragon Ball FighterZ Show, where producer Tomoko Hiroki talked to the fans via a video message. A new patch that will punish rage-quitters in the game was also announced during the livestream.
Roshi will arrive in the game at some point in September 2020.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
