Elden Ring Datamine Reveals Space For 30 New Bosses
Elden Ring is already packed full of more game than you can shake a stick at, but there's room for much more. A recent datamine uncovered 30 unused Boss flags, which means an update or future DLC has a lot of potential for new big bads.
Spotted by PCGamesN, Elden Ring dataminer Sekiro Dubi revealed the 30 currently available flags. Now, it's important to note that this doesan't mean 30 new bosses will be coming to Elden Ring, it just means FromSoftware left room for them should it be needed.
Sekiro Dubi also adds that it's "impossible to know" what kind of bosses these could be. They could be variations of what we've already seen or brand new foes entirely. There are also spaces for 16 new NPCs, labeled as 'Someone Yet Unseen.' How very ominous and FromSoftware.
While no DLC has been officially revealed, recent Elden Ring updates appear to be preparing the game for them. A string of menus in the game's code reveals ray tracing support is coming soon, and there's also mention of two new maps that aren't in the base game.
This is horrible news for the streamer who only just beat every single boss in Elden Ring without taking a single hit in return. Or maybe it's great news, as they may soon have another gauntlet for viewers to cheer them on in.
In other Elden Ring boss news, arguably the hardest in the game, Malenia, just got a lot easier thanks to a newly discovered cheese. The 1.07 update has buffed Ordovis' Greatsword so that its weapon skill can be used to batter the Blade of Miquella.
