Fortnite Season 10 start news and map leaks ahead of Battle Pass release
Fortnite Season 9 ends on August 1 and will be quickly followed by the start of Fortnite Season 10.
Epic Games have not given Fortnite Season 10 a full release date, but it appears it will be kicking off just after Season 9 finishes.
And a whole host of changes could be made following the end of the Fortnite World Cup.
For now, Epic Games are looking to keep the map intact for the big eSports event, with the pro players unlikely to back last-minute changes.
And with Fortnite Season 10 set to kick off soon after the World Cup champion is crowned, we could see some exciting changes made early next month.
When it comes to news on the subject, we currently have to rely on leaks and other rumours.
Epic Games aren’t giving away their secrets this early, so fans are having to get creative when it comes to Season 10 info.
Data miners have been sharing news regarding what could kickstart Season 10, and many believe it will involve the strange orb that powered the robot to victory.
From what has been shared so far, the Loot Lake Orb is going to go through some changes before Season 10.
And this could end with places like Neo Tilted being plunged into darkness, or even destroyed… again.
It looks like the Orb could grow in size, leading to all kind of different scenarios playing out.
The Fortnite map could be changed back to what it was like before Season 9, with the return of old locations.
Or Epic Games could be looking to make other tweaks which could leave the map completely different.
Fans are always hoping that a new map will be revealed at the start of a new season, something that has never happened.
Data miners did find a few snippets that suggested Fortnite players could head to a different planet, but this has never come to pass.
Fortnite Season 10 Battle Pass has yet to be revealed by Epic Games, so we can’t be sure what the theme will be.
Fans are confident that clues will be posted before the big seasonal event begins though.
This will include teaser images being posted online, as we saw with Season 9 and the interlocking pictures.
And a few Season 10 Battle Pass rewards have also been confirmed for Ticket holders attending the Fortnite World Cup.
All ticketed fans who attend the three-day event will receive V-Bucks and a Season 10 Battle Pass, but they must be present to claim these items.
Everyone who attends the event will receive a code that can be applied to their Epic account to redeem the V-Bucks and Season 10 Battle Pass.
“The codes will be physically distributed at the event and will be limited to one code per attendee,” Epic Games adds.
“The Season 10 Battle Pass will become active with the Season 10 launch and not immediately upon receiving the code.”
