Is the Untitled Goose Game coming to Steam? Good news for PC players

The Untitled Goose Game launched on September 20 on PC and Nintendo Switch – and fans are loving it.

There are already calls for the game to be released on PS4 and Xbox.

In the game you take on a role as an unpleasant goose who terrorises the neighbourhood.

In simple terms: “It's a lovely morning in the village and you are a horrible goose.”

At the moment it is only PC players with access to the Epic Games Store, or those who have Nintendo Switch who can play it.

But let’s face it – if you’re getting goose bumps just thinking about it, you’ll want to know if the Untiled Goose Game is coming to Steam.

Is the Untitled Goose Game coming to Steam?

The good news is developer House House has already confirmed the hilarious game is coming to Steam.

But unfortunately, you’ll have to wait a while.

At the moment, on the Steam website, it says: “Planned Release Date: Late 2020 on Steam”

The game’s FAQ also reveals the release date, and also other platforms it will be available from.

It currently says: “Will it be coming to other things? Yes. Expect to see it on Steam, Itch, and the Mac App Store in late 2020.”

Cabel, who works for Panic, the publisher of the Untiled Goose Game, said on Twitter, also repeated the release date on Twitter.

He said: “2020, baby!!! (Please note, if it helps: Epic Game Store version is DRM-free, so you don’t need to use their launcher after you buy the game.

“Also House House get a higher cut of sales from Epic than any other digital storefront. Etc.”

Whether or not that influences you decision to wait or not, we will leave up to you.
