NieR:Orchestra Concert is coming to the UK and US – and we’re not worthy

Following four sold-out performances in Tokyo in 2018, European and North American audiences will be able to experience the multimedia concert phenomenon, NieR:Orchestra Concert re:12018, in early 2020.

That gives us over here in the West the chance to become, as they say, as gods.

Taking place in London and Chicago, fans will experience the game world of NieR like never before!

This isn't just your standard concert, either – there will be some interesting and experimental stuff going on with this one. Stuff that sounds, in many ways, similar to the Assassin's Creed show that took place over the weekend in London.

The European and North American premiere concerts will be performed by a full symphony orchestra and chorus and will feature the vocal stylings of renowned soloist Emi Evans, under the direction of Grammy Award-winning conductor Arnie Roth.

NieR Replicant & Gestalt and NieR:Automata director Yoko Taro and composer Keiichi Okabe have created HD video projections especially for these concerts, which will be projected onto giant screens throughout the performance.

With these spectacular visuals, accompanied by the sonic power of over 100 musicians on stage, the NieR:Orchestra Concert re:12018 is a spectacle not to be missed.

"After 4 sold-out Tokyo performances in 2018, European and North American audiences will finally have the chance to experience this multimedia concert phenomenon," reads the description on the concert's site.

"AWR Music Productions (producers of Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY) is proud to partner with renowned video game developer SQUARE ENIX once again to present NieR:Orchestra Concert re: 12018. "
