PS4 games update: Forget State of Play, huge exclusive reveal coming on THIS date
PS4 gamers are still waiting to see when Sony will drop their next State of Play broadcast.
New for 2019, the PlayStation makers have so far held two of these Nintendo Direct-like presentations.
The last one took place in the run-up to E3, and there were rumours another would be shown soon after that which was focused on the Last of Us 2.
However, this State of Play did not materialise and PS4 fans have been left wondering when the next PlayStation games presentation will take place.
But as fans wait for confirmation on when the next State of Play will be they have been delivered a big update on a highly anticipated exclusive.
Last night Metal Gear Solid mastermind Hideo Kojima took to the stage at Gamescom Opening Night Live to reveal more on Death Stranding.
Around 10 minutes of footage of the PS4 exclusive was shown including videos focused on two characters and a bit of gameplay footage.
The latter showed main character Sam Porter Bridges exploring the world of Death Stranding, using his expandable ladder, and…er…taking a leak.

Tokyo Game Show 2019 is kicking off on September 12 2019 and will finish on Sunday September 15.
It remains to be seen how much Death Stranding gameplay is shown at TGS, and whether we get to see more of the combat that was briefly shown at E3 2019.

It also remains to be seen whether other PS4 exclusives such as Ghost of Tsushima, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake or Persona 5 Royal will feature at TGS.
Big name developers such as Sega, Capcom and Bandai Namco will also have a presence at Tokyo Game Show 2019.
