Rainbow Six Siege teased for Xbox Game Pass by not so cryptic tweet

Although not yet an official confirmation Rainbow Six Siege appears to be coming to Xbox Game Pass.

Xbox Game Pass is already hugely popular but it’s still relatively rare for it to get new big name third party games, but it seems as if one of Ubisoft’s best is on its way soon.

There has not been any official announcement from either Microsoft or Ubisoft but it’s pretty obvious that multiplayer shooter Rainbow Six Siege will be added to the service soon – unless you can think of some other way to interpret the tweet below.

Over the weekend, the Xbox Game Pass Twitter account posted an image that may seem random at first glance but which on further inspection seems like a pretty obvious clue about the addition of a new game.

The comments show many others jumping to the same conclusion, interspersed with demands for other titles to be added to Game Pass.

A few believe that the image could be referring to Mount And Blade 2: Bannerlord but, aside from the rainbows obviously pointing towards Rainbow Six Siege, Mount And Blade 2 is PC only and is still in early access.

Rainbow Six Siege coming to Game Pass makes a lot of sense as it could hook in new players who may then be encouraged to get the upcoming next gen re-release.

Rainbow Six Siege is available on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. It will release for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 later this year.
