Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Update patch notes: Rockstar Games new download latest

Rockstar Games have this evening released a brand new update for Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC.

Based on early reports the update is weighing in at 2.69GB, although, at present not many fans of the game appear to know what the update may have fixed.

Earlier this evening Rockstar Games support posted to Twitter that the team was actively working on a fix for "ongoing issues" so whether some of those are resolved in this latest update will be interesting to note.

The message, for those interested, read: "We’re aware of ongoing issues preventing some people from playing RDR2 on PC and are actively working to resolve them."

Fans on GTA Forums have also noted that there's also a new update for the Rockstar Games launcher which some fans may be required to download next time, too.

The only confirmed patch notes listed by Rockstar Games are, brief, to say the least.

The Rockstar Support website lists the following details in relation to today's update released this evening:

[November 6, 2019] General / Miscellaneous – PC

• Improvements to address issues that resulted in Red Dead Redemption 2 crashing due to Anti-Virus software.

And that's it.

No doubt the Red Dead Redemption 2 fans will shortly discover more about the update in time, so stay tuned for more info.
