RuneScape Reveals "Once Upon A Time" Year-Long Miniquest Series
Jagex has revealed RuneScape’s first-ever year-long miniquest series – Once Upon A Time: Foreshadowing. The adventure begins on January 25, when members can access an exclusive party at the Blue Moon Inn in Varrock.
RuneScape has been holding 20th Anniversary events throughout January, but this looks to be the biggest one yet. “The Grand Party is wrapping up, but our 20th Anniversary celebrations are just beginning,” wrote the developer. “Today we announce the first in our year-long miniquest series – Once Upon A Time: Foreshadowing.”
“On January 25, members can embark on a journey through RuneScape’s past, present, and future with an exclusive party, hosted by Relomia at the Blue Moon Inn in Varrock. Plenty of famous faces will be in attendance, so be sure to dress your best!”
Jagex will be releasing more info in the coming days, but it did mention “this is a party you won’t want to miss.”
The Grand Party in RuneScape has been an excellent way to celebrate 20 years on the market. What started as a niche MMO has grown into one of the long-running titles in the genre. This is the first time Jagex is attempting to piece together a year-long miniquest series, and it’ll be interesting to see what the team has in store. Expect plenty of throwbacks to older storylines to make an appearance, while also “foreshadowing” events yet to come.
Once Upon A Time: Foreshadowing begins on January 25.
