Second Annual Numskull Presents Showcase Coming Next Week
Numskull Games, founded in 2019, is set to air the second edition of Numskull Presents on the Numskull Games YouTube channel on Friday, February 12, at 5PM GMT. The virtual event will feature exclusive updates on upcoming games like Battle Axe and Bladed Fury, as well as new developments on an unannounced title coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Steam.
Numskull Presents will also offer exclusive giveaways for competition winners, including Battle Axe Shadow Boxes and Deadly Premonition Origins copies signed by SWERY, the director, designer and writer of the series.
“We heard the fan feedback from the first Numskull Presents and I think people will be really pleasantly surprised to see the line-up of titles that Numskull Games are bringing in the early part of 2021,” said Neil Flynn, PR and Community Manager of Numskull Games.
“We also have new games to show that will certainly please gamers from a wide span of gaming genres. I am really excited to be a part of this thrilling showcase that the team have put together and I’ll be on our social channels to answer any questions people may have after the show,” he added.
Numskull is set to release Re:ZERO – Starting Life in Another World- The Prophecy of the Throne, a tactical adventure game developed by Chime for Nintendo Switch on February 5. In the game, the player takes on the role of Subaru Natsuki, who is suddenly transported in another world, where he explores the Kingdom of Lugunica and interacts with characters from the 2016 Japanese anime series.
The sale of physical copies Re:ZERO has been delayed in the UK due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Brexit. In a statement, the company said, “Spike Chunsoft, Inc. and Numskull Games are working hard to resolve all matters to ensure that Re:ZERO fans in the UK will not need to wait to receive the physical versions much longer.”
Numskull Games, headed by Martin Defries, the co-founder and former managing director of indie label Rising Star Games, was established by Numskull Designs, a part of the London-based Rubber Road Group. The publisher has so far released Deadly Premonition: Origins, Battle Axe, AI: The Somnium Files and Clive ‘N’ Wrench, among others.
