PS5 SMYTHS STOCK UPDATE: According to the @PS5UpdatesUK Twitter account Smyths Toys are now sold out of the PS5. This stock update came around half an hour after the PS5 first became available to buy at Smyths Toys. According to PS5 stock tracker accounts, the Disc console was the first to sell out with the Digital Edition OOS after that.
However, with this latest Smyths Toys PS5 restock PlayStation fans reported on Twitter they experienced a number of technical issues – receiving error messages, problems checking the PS5 out when it was placed in their basket and other crashes during the order process.
ORIGINAL: PS5 fans are enjoying another bumper day of restocks in the UK with Smyths Toys getting a PlayStation 5 restock following GAME and Argos drops earlier today.
The latest Smyths Toys restock went live at around 4pm UK time today with both the Disc and Digital PS5 consoles available to buy.
As soon as the latest PS5 stock drop went live PlayStation 5 stock tracker accounts sent alerts out to followers on Twitter.

One of those was the @PS5StockAlertUK account that tweeted: “The #PS5 is now in stock! [Smyths Toys]”.
The account then went on to add: “If you’re getting blocked, click the link to go on their website, and then search for PS5 manually on their search bar.
“Try on a new device! For me it’s blocked on mobile but working on desktop! Clear your cookies/cache!”

Soon after the Smyths Toys PS5 restock went live – however – a number of gamers reported issues with the site, with problems accessing the site and PlayStation fans receiving error messages.
One PS5 stock hunter tweeted: “Have it in the bag but whenever I press checkout Error page pops out”.
While another posted: “Frozen in the place order button”.
One added: “Had one in my basket for home delivery then the website crashed!!!”
And another wrote: “This is where I got. Crashed during check out. But the ‘pre order’ seems to have gone through as have an email.”
If you missed out either of the Smyths, GAME or Argos PS5 restocks today then the good news is more PlayStation 5 stock drops are reportedly inbound.
According to the @PS5Instant Twitter, we could still see ASDA, John Lewis and Very release PS5 stock this week – while Amazon UK are rumoured to be getting their biggest PS5 restock so far next week.
