Next Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC Character Is Terry Bogard, With Even More Fighters On The Way

Nintendo had some exciting Super Smash Bros. Ultimate news to share during this week’s Nintendo Direct presentation. In addition to announcing a release date for Banjo and Kazooie, the company unveiled the next DLC fighter coming to the game: Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury.

Nintendo didn’t share many details about Terry during the Direct, only that he’s currently in development and will be available sometime this November. Terry marks the fourth DLC character to arrive as part of the game’s $25 Fighters Pass, following Persona 5’s Joker, Dragon Quest’s Hero, and the aforementioned Banjo and Kazooie.

One more character is still slated to come as part of the Fighters Pass, but that won’t be the end of the newcomers; Nintendo announced that even more DLC fighters are in development. Banjo and Kazooie, meanwhile, are coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate today alongside the 5.0 update, which will also add a new mode: Home Run Contest.

In other Smash Ultimate news, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can pick up another freebie for the game. The second Spirit Board Challenge Pack is available right now on the Eshop, and it includes an assortment of items to help you challenge tough Spirits in the game’s Spirit Board mode.
