PC Game Deal: Assassin’s Creed Origins and Mystery Games for Just $12

If you buy something through this post, IGN may get a share of the sale. For more, read our Terms of Use.

Here’s a killer deal for anyone with a gaming PC: You can get Assassin’s Creed Origins, plus a bundle of mystery games, for just $12. That’s a massive discount even without the yet-to-be-revealed titles, considering Origins is going for $60 on Steam right now.

It’s all part of the Humble Monthly Bundle for May. If you subscribe now, you’ll be able to download and play Assassin’s Creed Origins immediately. Then, on May 3, once the month’s subscription period ends, you’ll get a bundle of additional games at no added cost. The catch is that if you wait until those game are revealed, it’ll be too late to buy in for the month.

I’ve been saying for a long time that Humble Monthly is one of the best deals in all of gaming. For $12, you get a bundle of games that’s usually worth close to $200. The games are yours to keep forever, even if you end your subscription, which you can do at any time. That means you can easily hop in to take advantage of any month when you like the early unlock game(s) and cancel before you’re charged for the following month.

There are additional benefits for Humble Monthly subscribers as well. For one, you get 10% off all other purchases from the Humble Store, which can really add up over time. You also get access to the Humble Trove, which lets you play over 60 DRM-free games as long as you’re subscribed. And a portion of the proceeds are donated to charity; this month’s featured charity is Action Against Hunger.

And if you’re wondering if this particular Assassin’s Creed installment is good, check this out, from IGN’s 9/10 Assassin’s Creed Origins review: “Assassin’s Creed Origins is a deep-dive into a truly stunning realization of ancient Egypt, with a rich series of cultures, genuine characters, and more mission variety than any other game in the series.”

To get a sense of the caliber of mystery games to expect, you can see all of the games included in previous Humble Monthlies here.
