Which edition of Ghost of Tsushima should you buy?
Ghost of Tsushima, the open-world action game set in medieval Japan, is on its way. Initially set for a June 26 release, the PS4 exclusive’s launch date was pushed back in order to make room for Sony’s other big summer release, The Last of Us Part 2. Ghost of Tsushima will now launch on July 17.
Originally announced in 2017, with an official launch trailer debuting at E3 2018, Ghost of Tsushima follows a samurai named Jin Sakai who “must sacrifice everything to defeat the ruthless Mongol invaders and protect what’s left of his home and people,” according to the game’s official description. The game is heavily inspired by classic Japanese films, and developer Sucker Punch Productions even included a “Samurai Cinema” mode that converts the visuals into grainy black-and-white.
